Werewolf (from Old English Werwulf "man-wolf") can shapeshift into a wolf (wolf–humanlike creature) due to a curse transmitted by a bite or scratch from another werewolf. Emerged in what is now Switzerland, especially the Valais and Vaud, in the early 15th century and spread throughout Europe in the 16th, peaking in the 17th and currently expanding to every edge of the planet. Triggered by the full moon, Werwulf grow an uncontrollable appetite that can only be satisfy at Night. Since the Middle Ages, Werwulfs are known to be good friends of the Witches.
